THE COMPANY

Our company is a family business which began its involvement with the manufacture and marketing of furniture in 1960 in a small workshop in central Thessaloniki, Greece. Over the years the company evolved and it was necessary to find a larger factory in an industrial area.

The business was passed on to the ^second generation of the Arvanitis family and from a small individual business it became “Arvanitis Brothers”. By extension, the separation of the commercial division and the construction division took place. Modernisation moves were initiated in the technological sector with the purchase of new modern machinery, vehicles and production units. At the same time, the large exhibition space we had at our disposal in Thessaloniki, Greece was utilized with a variety of constructions and materials. Arvanitis brothers started cooperating with more countries, as the company imported furniture from Italy in addition to its own furniture made in Greece.

Now having accumulated the knowledge and experience of the previous generations, our company has passed to the ^third generation of furniture makers in the family. In 2013 the company was renamed to “E. Arvanitis I.K.E.” with the distinctive “Arvanitis WoodCode” title.

Our headquarters are located in the Industrial Park in Lakkoma, Halkidiki – very close to Thessaloniki, Greece. Here we combine our production unit with its complete mechanical equipment and our showroom. We manufacture kitchens, wardrobes, hotel furniture, bars, business and household furniture as well as outdoor pergolas, wooden railings and sunshades. We specialize in special constructions made of wood. In recent years we have started exporting our furniture abroad to the UK and Germany.

The philosophy of Arvanitis WoodCode is to be able to offer the customers exactly the furniture they have dreamed of. We undertake and manufacture anything your architect has designed, however elaborate it may be, in the material and colour of your choice. We develop trusting relationships with our customers and treat each of our constructions as if they were going to enter our own home or office.
